Malaysia, Feb 15, 2020: Not everyone can have the chance to witness a shooting star in the sky. It is such a rare occurence that people usually associate the phenomenon with good luck, believing that those who have seen it should make a wish and it might just come true. We are not sure of the cosmic powers but to see a shooting star is an experience that is out of this world, as to World of Buzz reports.
A couple of nights ago, a few people in Johor Bahru saw something that may not be a shooting star, but appears to be like a fireball zooming through the sky. The video was shared on Facebook and has gone viral. Even a few netizens mentioned that they witnessed the same phenomenon in the comments section.
The sightings were also reported on the International Meteor Organisation’s website – four of them to be exact. However, as reported by Coconuts, there were no records by NASA or the European Space Agency on anything to do with the fireball.
So were you among the lucky few who has managed to witness this mysterious fireball streaking through the skies of Johor Bahru at around 5am on 12 February? What do you think it might be? A meteor? A satellite? Or maybe a spaceship?
