The report, which was earlier emailed to the Ministry of External Affairs by the Gurgaon Police on September 9, has also been sent by the state’s director general of police to additional chief secretary (home), official sources said on Monday.

"We are waiting for the directions of the Union government as the action against the accused pertains to the Centre. We will act on the directions of the Centre as the accused may have diplomatic immunity," Jawahar Yadav, OSD, chief minister, Haryana, said.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Police, Haryana, in an internal communiqué to the state additional chief secretary, said, that the residents of the apartment, where the victims were allegedly thrashed and sexually exploited, were "extremely non-cooperative".

The police so far have failed to confirm the names of all the accused. One of the accused identified by the women is Majit who is believed to be the first Secretary with the Saudi Arabian Embassy in New Delhi.

Meanwhile, Mail Today has accessed the copy of the FIR in which the victims have narrated how the diplomat and his guests repeatedly exploited and ill treated the women who were hired as domestic help.
