Driver blames Indrani, Khanna in Sheena murder case

Mumbai, Jul 2, 2016, DHNS: In a significant development in the sensational Sheena Bora murder case, approver Shyamvar Rai has blamed his former employer Indrani Mukerjea and her first husband Sanjeev Khanna for the brutal murder.

 

However, he seems to be silent on the role of former Star TV CEO Peter Mukerjea, the husband of Indrani and stepfather of Sheena.

The Mukerjea couple and Khanna are under CBI arrest for the murder of Bora and attempt to murder Mikhail Bora, the victim’s brother.

They are Indrani’s kids from her first live-in partner Siddhartha Das.

According to the prosecution, Sheena, 24,  was murdered on April 24, 2012. Indrani, Khanna and Rai have been accused of strangling Sheena to death in a car in Mumbai and disposing of her body next day in Raigad.

Apparently, the Mukerjea couple had some financial issues with Sheena, who was in a relationship with Rahul, the son of Peter Mukerjea with his first wife.

Rai claimed that while he pressed and covered Sheena’s mouth, Sanjeev Khanna grabbed her hair from behind and Indrani finally strangulated her.

“Indrani sat on top of Sheena and was strangling her. Sheena bit my finger. It was bleeding,” Rai had said in his statement.
