A school teacher, a clerk and a support staffer have been apprehended from Himachal Pradesh’s Una district. The arrests made by the Delhi Police’s crime branch team have been made for the leak of Class 12 economics paper in the handwritten form.

Earlier on April 1, the three who were arrested from outer Delhi’s Bawana area allegedly confessed to having conspired the leak.

Talking to media then, Delhi Special Commissioner (Crime) RP had said, "Though question papers were supposed to be opened 15 minutes prior to the start of exams at 10 am, the Class 12 economics paper was opened around half an hour or 40 minutes before the commencement time. Its contents were shared on WhatsApp with a few students who later passed it on to others," he said.

"The question paper was forwarded to 26-year-old Tauqeer, a tutor at a coaching centre in Bawana, by his friend Rohit following instructions from Rishabh," Upadhyay said.

Both Rohit and Rishabh were working as teachers with a private school in the capital and were exam invigilators on the day of the exam.

Following the leak, CBSE Class 12 economics paper has now been rescheduled for April 25.
