New Delhi, May 18, 2017: In a case of revenge killing, a 17-year-old youth out on parole and his four adult friends allegedly murdered two men in west and central Delhi within a gap of two hours.

murder 18Just a week before the double murder, the boy had been released from a juvenile justice home on parole in a snatching case, said a senior police officer. The boy had been apprehended at least thrice in the past for various street crimes.

Ever since he was out on parole, the boy had been allegedly seeking revenge against his two rivals, Sunil and Rahul, who had stabbed him around a year ago following a series of quarrels over petty issues.

On Friday night, the boy allegedly called his 22-year-old friend, Manoj, and three others and decided to get his revenge.

Together, they visited Sunil’s locality in west Delhi’s Khyala area and called him out to a park on the pretext of resolving their issues.

But soon after Sunil reached the park, he was allegedly stabbed with a knife and left to bleed to death. They even allegedly snatched Sunil’s gold chain before leaving the murder spot.

The alleged killers then headed out to kill Rahul who lived in Nabi Karim. Manoj, however, decided not to accompany them as he got a call from his family asking him to be home.

With the remaining of his friends, the boy allegedly barged into Rahul’s home in Nabi Karim around two hours later. They dragged him to an isolated spot near his home and stabbed him over 20 times, killing him on the spot.

Having got their revenge, the killers parted ways even as the police of both the districts formed teams to crack the murder cases.

Manoj was arrested by the west Delhi police team within hours. At his instance, the central Delhi police team managed to nab the boy too on Saturday. The gold chain robbed from murdered Sunil too has been recovered.

The police are yet to nab the other three persons involved in the double murder. They have been identified but remain on the run.
