Audio clip of MLA’s intimate talks with woman goes viral

Bagalkot, Apr 07, 2018 : A 16-minute audio clip of an intimate conversation between the former Union minister and Congress MLA from Jamakhandi, Siddu Nyamagouda, and a woman, said to be a party worker, has gone viral on social media.

 

The conversation has become a talking point in the district.

Meanwhile, Siddu Nyamagouda, who shot to fame with his giant-killing act in 1991 Lok Sabha elections, during which he defeated Ramakrishna Hegde, told DH that the audio clip is fake and fabricated. "With the Assembly elections round the corner, this is a conspiracy by my detractors to mar my reputation."

"I have taken up many development works in my constituency. Those unable to digest my popularity are behind this audio clip," the legislator said.

"I will lodge a complaint with the Superintendent of Police, seeking a thorough investigation into the clip and taken action against those behind the act," Nyamagouda said.
