4-Month-old calf raped by youth in UP, dies

Uttar Pradesh, Oct 23, 2018 : In a shocking incident, a youth was booked by the Uttar Pradesh police for allegedly raping a four-month-old calf. According to a report published in The Times of India, the calf died on Saturday, after which an FIR was filed against the youth under IPC’s sections 377 (unnatural offences) and 429 (mischief by killing or maiming cattle). The youth belongs to a minority community. Following the death of the calf, members of Hindu groups protested in the area demanding the arrest of the accused, Yahoonews reported.

 

According to the report, the calf was died due to an internal injury. The samples have been to an Agra-based lab to confirm rape. The police said that they would arrest the accused after the medical report. However, the family members of the youth claimed that he is a minor. A medical examination will be conducted to verify the age of an accused.

In a similar incident, eight men allegedly gangraped a pregnant goat in Mewat town of Nuh district in Haryana. The pregnant goat died after the sexual abuse. The goat’s owner filed a complaint with the Nagina police station and accused eight men of abducting and raping his pregnant goat. All the eight accused were believed to be drug addicts and alcoholics. According to reports, they abducted the goat and gangraped her in a deserted house.
