‘Does he have a treasure buried somewhere?’Farooq Abdullah on Jagan Reddy’s income source

Kadapa, Mar 27, 2019 : The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 dates are out and the model code of conduct in place, political stalwarts are all up against each other. In the latest, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday hit out at YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and questioned him how did he possessed Rs 1,500 Crore in his political career? He even asked him whether he had a treasure buried somewhere, that must have been from a loot?, reported Yahoonews.

 

Addressing an electoral rally in Kadapa, Abdullah asked, “I’d like to remind Jagan what he said to me after his father’s death, he said that if Congress makes him CM, he is ready to give them ₹1,500 cr. How did he get so much money? Does he have a treasure buried somewhere, that must have been from a loot.” Farooq Abdullah Slams Govt over Air Strike, Ram Temple.

Earlier on Monday, Abdullah had even made scathing attacks on BJP, while addressing a political rally in Vijayawada. He questioned the BJP led Central government over its claims on air-strike conducted in Pakistan’s Balakot. Abdullah said, “If 300 people have died (in Balakot air strike), would there not be an international cry as to what has happened? And anybody who questions this, he is anti-national, he is a Pakistani.”

Claiming that following the air-strikes, no one is talking about the Ram Temple issue, the NC chief said, “Today no one talks of Ram Temple. Before that strike in Balakot, it was temple, temple, and temple. Who is talking of Ram today?”

Attacking Narendra Modi, he had said, “What they (BJP) are selling to people is that here is a man who is like Hanuman who can beat Pakistan. Has he beaten Pakistan? I don’t think so.”
