Sharjah, 24 September 2010: LKAE makes an announcement of their 7th annual Lourdes Kanajar open Volleyball & Throwball Tournament on 2nd Dec 2010 at Wonderers Sports Club in Sharjah.

It is a moment of pride for Lourdes Kanajarians to announce this event that has been drawing a large number of teams and spectators every year, from all over UAE.

The interested teams are requested to register their team names by sending an email to LKAE@kanajaronline.com or joykanajar@gmail.com on or before 15th Nov 2010.  The registration fees will be Dhs 200/- which shall be paid along with the registration form to the Sports Coordinator of LKAE (Joy D’souza) or to the Treasurer (Thomas Saldanha) once LKAE has confirmed your registration.

The event is going to be a fun filled family outing with lots of spot prizes, raffle draws etc. Besides main trophies, there will also be surprise prizes, trophies & certificates which shall be given to individuals.

The tournament proceedings will start at 8.30am sharp as in the past 6 years, which has been a key factor for the success of this tournament so far. The rules of the tournament will remain the same as in previous years, and LKAE will call for a meeting of team Captains or Managers at least a week before the tournament.

We thank Participating team Managers, Captains and members of the team and all our supporters at large, sponsors and spectators for making this event very successful and thereby helping us to contribute a small amount towards  children’s education fund back home.
