Kuwait: UMK to Present ’Fun-filled Evening’ on Oct 7

Kuwait, 21 Jun1 2011: A well-known expatriate organization, United Mangaloreans Kuwait (UMK), has once again geared up to present its 3rd "Fun-filled Evening 2011" on Friday, October 7, 2011 in the American International School auditorium in Maidan Hawalli, Kuwait at 5:00 pm.

The objective of the meet is to raise funds to help the underprivileged brethren back home in Mangalore.

In the past two years, UMK has contributed around Rs 15 lakh to two needy institutions like HIV AIDS care centre, Gurpur and a Special School at Venur, after deducting only incidental expenses. This was possible only by the overwhelming support from the sponsors and the audience who contributed generously.

This year UMK will present a hilarious Konkani comedy play along with a variety of lively melodious songs and foot-tapping dances.

So, all are requested to mark their calendar right away for this fun-filled evening. Even the families and friends are welcome to be part of this programme. It is a rare opportunity to enjoy and have a great time together, and, at the same time, to serve a worthy cause.
