Sharjah, Nov 4: The Sharjah-based Karnataka Sangha will organize its annual sports day with the Mayura Cup Tournament 2010 on Nov 12, Friday at Sharjah Wanderers Club Stadium from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All Kannadigas working in the UAE are cordially invited for the sports event.

A ladies tug-of-war will be the major attraction of the day. The other events will be ladies throw ball, men’s volley ball, kabbadi, men’s tug-of-war, and a number of games for children.


The day-long event will be filled with fun and entertainment. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all the team members and guests. All participants will be given a gift at the end of the event.
