Dubai, 12 February 2011: If you wanted a full day out at one of Dubai’s most beautiful park teamed with super weather, delicious food, great company, exciting games, gifts galore, ‘never seen before’ events where would you go?  But of course to the Zabeel Park on Friday,  18th February 2011 where SMKC Dubai is organizing its annual Family Fun Day from 9.00 AM in the morning until you say stop!

 

 

This is a personal invitation from SMKC Dubai going out to anyone and everyone who would like to spend a fun filled and enjoyable day in the park mingling, mixing, dancing & generally having a good time. From delightful games for the tiny tots, energetic and exhilarating games for the young and young at heart, savvy games for the senior citizens,  some dynamic team games AND ‘Surprise’ events ……….there is something for everyone!!

And now for the ‘Show Stopper’………National / International Costume Parade.  Yes,  keeping in line with the Dubai Shopping Festival, SMKC Dubai is planning  to organize a most exhilarating competition of Costumes…where in you are invited to dress in the local attire of any nation/place of your choice!!!  Be it from Mangalore, Goa, Bombay, Punjab, Gujarat, UAE, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, US, UK, Australia, Germany, or any type of costume that will delight the crowd.  

Bring along the exciting international or national costumes you wish to wear and post lunch (around 2.30 PM) a ‘Parade’ will be conducted around the park followed with the awards for the ‘best dressed couple’ and for other categories.   There is no age limit and children are welcome to participate.   Any one interested to participate can confirm early by sending a mailto:smkcdxb@eim.ae with name, telephone details and your choice of costume.

Fun, frolic and a multitude of opportunities to win fantastic prizes and give aways, authentic Indian breakfast (served until 10:30 a.m.), sumptuous lunch and high tea is priced only at Dhs. 15/- .  The Park entrance fee according to the DM regulations will be at your own cost.

The event will be conducted bilingual by bubbly and charming Amitha D’souza, and enthusiastic and well known Konkani compere in town, Roshan D’silva.   DJ Wendell will render music that will keep you all dancing on the green grass until the sun goes down.

It will be a GLOBAL COMMUNITY event  as the theme goes as ONE GLOBAL FAMILY - Indians or World Citizens. Come armed with your water bottles, mats, a huge appetite and enthusiasm to participate in all the activities and witness the excitement chalked by the no. 1 organizers of the UAE.
