Abu Dhabi ,  May 11,  2012:  A magical Musical Extravaganza unfolded here at the Golden Ball room of Country Club at 11am with a prayer invoked by Valerian Fernandes.  He also highlighted the achievement of KCO and his charitable deeds  especially extending helping hand towards the education assistance for the under privileged children back in Mangalore and followed by the Prayer song by KCO members led by Rupert Vaz.

A wonderful welcome song Fiasta  2012 sang beautifully by  Rupert Vaz in his melodius said “ Udar Monak tuja Dev Borem Korun” joined by all KCO members.

Mr Rupert Vaz Welcomed the gathering and introduced compere of compare Leslie Rego who has come all the way from Mangalore for the Fiasta 2012 to the audience.  Leslie Rego thanked KCO for their kind invitation and congratulated the audience for attending today’s great grand show FIASTA 2012 in large numbers.  He promised the audience the whole day entertainment is waiting for them to enjoy.

Then it was time for the grand First Session entertainment with a super melodious songs “Hazar Phhulan Moden”  and “Clara” by Konkani’s dream boy who has sung in several Konkani audio albums Rony D’Cunha sang  in impeccable rendition in his golden voice and mesmerized the audience.

Leslie Rego introduced Adrian Gomes a master musician, who plays key board and Trumpet and his son Anston Joel Gomes who plays rhythm guitar who has composed two songs at the young age. He will be s joining his dad Adrain for the entire singing session.

 
He also introduced famous Goan Nephi Rod who has performed on many stage shows and audio albums and has traveled widely and has rendered her golden voice for various functions in India and abroad. She began with a lovely song “Ankwar Chedun” and continued with two beautiful numbers Franklin and Rani Vani and entertained the audience thoroughly.

Another sensational Mangalorean Ye Manna Konkani Album fame Adolf Jayathilak began with a lovely jumping song “Lavina” and had audience enjoying to his wonderful romantic song  “Vodthanth Fulli Phulan”.  Two wonderful super hit old duet numbers followed.  “Kitlen Sobith Tun Maria” – a super hit old Goan classic song was beautifully sung by Rony D’Cunha and Nephie Rod followed by  “Tun Sopan Go Fanthyache (duet) by Adolf and Nephie Rod evergreen song mesmerized the audience.

Bollywood dance troupe who have all the way from Mumbai presented a dance number followed one of the best band from Goa  and troupe played wonderfully for 30 Minutes wherein several dancing couples joining in for the wonderful  English numbers.

The KCO President Michael D’Silva delivered the presidential address.  While welcoming the audience and guests he said that if today KCO has become very famous it is for their social and charitable deeds and also it was due to fulfilling financial needs of more than 150 needy students which have helped them to complete their education and many more still continuing.  KCO also has been assisting financially to the medical needs of some patients back in Mangalore.   He also thanked all the sponsors for their generosity which made possible KCO to fulfill dreams of completing education many in Mangalore.

Vivek Serrao, sports secretary of KCO conducted the felicitation of sponsors.  He invited KCO ex President Dolphy Vaz to the dais along with Michael D’Silva to felicitate the Platinum and Gold Sponsors.  Vivek requested all the Platinum and Gold sponsors to the dais and they were felicitated with floral bouquets and mementos in appreciation for their sponsorship by Michael, Dolphy and KCO committee members.
