Porn movies should be legalised in India: Poonam Pandey

Mangalore Today News Network

March 23, 2012: Poonam in her recent media interaction with a leading website revealed that porn movies should be legalized in India.  Poonam stated ‘I don’t feel that there’s anything wrong about porn movies. In fact, I support them and would want to have porn films to be legalized in India very soon. Indian audiences watch porn films, but hardly do accept it. It’s high time we should legalize these films’.

The 20-year-old bomb shell diva, Pandey, who rose to fame during the last year’s cricket World Cup after she said that she will shed all of her cloths if India wins, stressed the new generation likes watching porn and therefore the country should legalise it.

“There is nothing wrong in legalising porn films in India. Everyone has porn clips in their cell phones, but no one has the guts to watch it in open. Sex films are always watched under a hidden situation in India. It’s new generation, so whats wrong in watching it openly?” Poonam said.

Pandey also defended the Indo-Canadian porn star, Sunny Leone, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut via Mahesh Bhatt’s much-anticipated forthcoming film ‘Jism 2’, a sequel to the 2003 hit film ‘Jism’.

Leone, who gained media limelight during her stint in the Bigg Boss house, is a household name in India at this point in time but initially she faced a lot of criticism, which was obviously due to her professional. However, Pandey thinks people should not look down upon Leone just because she is a porn star.

She added, “What’s wrong if Sunny Leone is working in a Bollywood movie? She deserves it, hence I appreciate her.”

Well, all said and done, Pandey’s boldness and blunt statements at this age has left the nation in a shock. She is the current internet sensation and she has no concerns with whatever people think or say about her.

Meanwhile, Sunny Leone has comeback in the country to participate in ‘Jism 2’, which is expected to hit the cinemas this year.
