June 27, 2022: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child. The actress took to Instagram to share the happy news with everyone. According to sources, the two will become parents this November. Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, Rakul Preet and several other celebrities took to comments section to congratulate the new parents-to-be. The couple tied the knot in April 2022.
Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to inform fans about her pregnancy. She shared a picture of her undergoing sonography while Ranbir can be seen sitting next to her. She wrote, "Our baby .. coming soon (sic)." The photo is now going viral on social media.
Soon after Alia surprised everyone with the good news, her friends and family members took to the comments section to congratulate them. Karan Johar wrote, "Heart is bursting (sic)." Priyanka Chopra wrote, "Congratulations honey!! Yaaaay! Can’t wait (sic)."
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the latter’s house in Mumbai on April 14, 2022.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen next in director Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Part one of the film will be released in multiple languages on September 9, 2022. The film’s promotions will commence in the coming weeks.
