Last month, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is probing the money trail in the extortion case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar, filed a charge sheet naming actor Jacqueline Fernandez as an accused. Later, Nora Fatehi was questioned by the ED in the same case.

However, the Delhi Police said that Nora Fatehi has no direct connection with Jacqueline with respect to the case but was called for questioning together with Pinky Irani, who was tasked to introduce Jacqueline Fernandez to the conman and was allegedly paid in crores of rupees for the job.

"Since Pinky Irani is here, we want to interrogate both of them. There are certain things that need to be clarified. There’s no direct connection between Nora and Jacqueline with respect to this case," said Ravindra Yadav, Ravindra Yadav, Special Commissioner of Police, EOW.

The EOW officials recovered a Ducati bike from Jacqueline Fernandez’s agent, Prashant.

The bike, which is estimated to have cost Rs 8 lakh, was reportedly given to Prashant in February 2021.
