“There should be enquiry in Rhea Chakraborty and Shovik case as well. No drugs were found on them. No tests were done,” Satish Maneshinde alleged.

He added, “For the last three years, the NCB has troubled a lot of people and action is needed against these officials. There were just WhatsApp chats and no test was done. When Aryan Khan case showed that false case was made, which had continued since Rhea Chakraborty’s time, then new investigation was opened.”

He sought enquiry into all such cases handled by the NCB officials, adding, “Bollywood actors have life of 10-20 years only (in the industry) and they have to be fit, which can’t be done with drugs. But for popularity they (the NCB) did this and paraded stars.”Aryan Khan’s lawyer sought action against the NCB officials who he said “acted the way they shouldn’t have.”

“Action is needed against Sameer Wankhede,” Satish Maneshinde said.

He refrained from commenting on Nawab Malik’s comments about clean chit to Aryan and said, “I don’t want to comment on the politics of it or what Nawab Malik said. It will not be proper. I am just a lawyer.”

Talking about the NCB dropping charges against Aryan Khans, Satish Mahishinde said, “For Shah Rukh Khan’s family, it was big relief. They went through a lot.”

He requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s intervention and said, “I request PM Modi to look into all such aspects of these cases. All such incidents should be looked into. This is not a state or Centre issue.”

“Everyone knows the power that police and enforcement agencies have and they are being misused and PM Modi needs to ensure that the agencies’ working is good to ensure trust of people,” Satish Maneshinde said.
