Dr. Naveen Bhat - Dynamic Officer

Udupi, December 1, 2020: He is a doctor by qualification and a bureaucrat by profession,  someone with a deep commitment to serve the society. This outstanding young officer is Dr. Naveen Bhat Y., presently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Udupi Zilla Panchayat.

Hailing from Yellur in Kaup taluk of Udupi district, he had his  primary and high school education in Moodbidri Rotary English Medium School and Modankaup Infant Jesus School and Pre-University Education at Alike Satya Sai institution.

A first rank holder of the 2009 CET, Naveen went on to do his MBBS from the  Bengaluru Medical College.  But, administrative service was something that attracted him very much and  he  appeared for the  UPSC exams and came out in flying colours with 37th rank in 2016.

Dr. Naveen  was on deputation  for three months as Assistant Secretary of the Union Health and Family Welfare  Department. In Karnataka his first tenure was as Assistant Commissioner of Hassan district. Now, as  CEO of Udupi ZP,  there are high expectations from this young officer.
