Unidentified group attacks man

Bantwal, Feb 4: A group of 5 unidentified persons attacked a man near Benjanapadavu, Bantwal on Feb 4, Thursday. The victim Rajesh is one of the accused in a communal murder case and also faces 6 criminal charges.

Rajesh is now recuperating in a private hospital. He lives close to where he was attacked. The attackers arrived in a car and dashed against the motorbike on which Rajesh and his friend Pramod were riding. Pramod escaped without injuries and the miscreants fled after beating up Rajesh. 

The Bantwal police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
