Karwar, Feb 3: “The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is a boon for students who wish to pursue their higher education. The KSOU is to be appreciated for providing high-quality education," said Kranthi N, the assistant forest officer. He was inaugurating the distance education introduction programme organized by the KSOU Research Centre at the Government Arts and Science College.

In his inaugural speech, Mr. Kranthi encouraged students to reach their goals in 3 steps—dreams, execution, and success. Students must work toward their goals with honesty and discipline, he said.

Anu Kalasa, the chief guest of the programme, said that distance education enables several students to become intelligent.

Siddaramu, the principal of Government Art and Science College, presided over the programme; and Professor S G Bhat made the welcome speech.
