Father alleges that son was murdered

Mangalore, Feb 1: Kaveriappa, the father of Uthappa, alleged that his son’s death is not an accident, but murder. He had lodged a complaint with the Uppinangady police. 

Uthappa, a student of II PUC at St Philomena College, died of drowning in the Nethravathi river on Jan 23. 

Kaveriappa said that his son was close to a girl student of I BCom. His friend Sohan Rebello was also fond of the same girl. The father, therefore, suspects Sohan of murdering Uthappa. 

The Uppinangady police have registered a case. Investigations are going on.
