Mandd Sobhann to host religious play

Mangalore, Feb 1: Mandd Sobhann, an organization that focuses on promoting Konkani language, culture, and traditions, will host “Tuji Khushi Janv,” a Konkani religious play at Noreen and Ronald Mendonca Stage, Kalaangann, Shaktinagar on Feb 7, Sunday. 

The religious play, which will be staged by the Carmelites of Infant Jesus Shrine, is based on the life of a saintly priest. The friars have dedicated the play to all the members of the clergy. The writer of the play is Carmelite Bro. Sunny Fernandes. Fr. Deep Fernandes will direct the play; and Dilon D’Souza will score the music. 

The play is being sponsored by Milagres Parish Centenary Celebration Committee.
