Mangalore Today News Network

Badiyadka, Jan 2: The state education minister has ordered the state coordinator of NSS to thoroughly investigate the cap controversy that rocked the NSS camp organized at Pallatadka Muddu Mandir and to submit a report regarding the same.

The students of Kasargod Government College who participated in the camp were given white caps on which the words “C.H. Centre Uduma” were printed in green. Reportedly, the letters C.H. on the cap are the initials of C. H. Mohammad Koya, the late leader of the Muslim League.

Students who opposed this were forced to wear the cap. Later, the leaders of Hindu organizations who questioned the distribution of these caps were also threatened.
