Hiriyadka wood merchant murdered

Udupi, Jan 1: A wood merchant hailing from Hiriyadka was murdered on the night of Dec 31, Thursday. 

The Sub Inspector of Hiriyadka Venkappa Naika said that the deceased is Yathish Shetty, aged 35, and that he lived in Donderangandy in Kakkunje Village, Hiriyadka. A group of 4 arrived in an Indica car and attacked Yathish when he was walking along Shetty Bandasale. 

Brahmavar Circle Inspector Krishnamoorthy said that the police will leave no stone unturned in finding and arresting the group of murderers who are now absconding.
