Tejaswini Raj, the president of NSUI, DK unit, said in a speech that the BJP government has failed miserably and has disappointed the general public by its negligence. The government has done nothing for the poverty-stricken farmers of Karnataka. Right now, the government is pushing poor people deeper into poverty by implementing new projects. The police are harassing the general public, especially the youth, by unnecessarily resorting to lathi charge, he alleged.

He said that Chief Minister Yediyurappa must resign and that a new government must be formed. Yediyurappa is incapable of controlling the Reddy brothers who are robbing the natural resources of Karnataka and emptying its financial resources. The CM’s duty was to question them and to command a CBI probe into their activities. Instead of doing this, the CM admitted that he is helpless and totally under the control of the Reddy brothers. For these reasons, he is not eligible to be the CM of Karnataka. Such a weak government should collapse and a stronger government should be formed in its stead, he said.
