Corpse of newborn baby found floating on Phalguni river

Mangaluru, Jan 3, 2021: The body of a newborn baby boy was found floating in the Phalguni river near Thota Bengre on Saturday on January 2.

Two crew members of a fishing boat which was returning to the coast found and retrieved the dead body and immediately reported to the local police.

As per reports, the baby is 1-2 days old and it is not known whether the baby was dead before being dumped in the water.
