Zero traffic ensured to shift critically ill patient from Puttur to Bengaluru within 4 ½ hours

Mangaluru, Dec 03, 2020:    A 22 year old critically ill woman who was suffering from pulmonary disease  was shifted from the Mahaveer Medical Centre Hospital in Puttur to the Vydehi Hospital at Whitefield in Bengaluru on  December 2, Monday  within just four hours and 20 minutes, thank s to  the agile  ambulance driver as well as the zero traffic created all along the route with the help of public and the police.

The young woman from Arehalli in Sakleshpur was shifted to the Bengaluru Hospital in the  ambulance of  Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre with Mohammad Haneef as its driver.

The ambulance began its journey from Puttur at 11 am. By then  social media message was shared widely  and public made arrangements to ensure the   route of the ambulance was free from traffic. All along the route from Puttur to  Bengaluru people lined up to ensure the smooth passage of the ambulance and even the police too  assisted  in the endeavour.

The ambulance reached Charmady by 11.45 am and reached  Belur in Hassan at around 12.40 pm and from there it reached  Bengaluru by 3.20 pm.
