Youth killed as car rams against compound wall at Kadri

Mangalore, Jun 9, 2013: A youth lost his life  when the car in which he was travelling with his friends, hit against the compound wall of Bal Bhavan at Kadri Park  on June 8, Saturday midnight at around 12.30 am.

The deceased has been identified as Ithihas Shetty (20), a second year engineering student at St Joseph’s Engineering College. Reportedly Ithihas along with his friends and the mother of one of the friends, was returning after a late night party.

They were on way to Bejai from Nanthur when the mishap took place. It is learnt, the car belonged to the mother of one of Ithihas’s friends and she too has sustained serious injuries in the mishap.

Kadri police have registered a case.
