Youth gets entangled in net during kayak fishing; dies

Kaup, Mar 01, 2024: A young man who had ventured into kayak fishing in the sea at Polipu in Kaup, drowned on March 1, Monday after he got entangled in the fishing net.

 

The deceased is Kishore (29), a resident of Polipu. He used to go on Kayak fishing every morning, however tragedy struck on Friday.

Fishermen from other boats who saw the kayak floating in the waters grew suspicious and later retrieved the body of Kishore from the sea.
