Youth electrocuted at Udyavar

Kaup, Jun 17, 2021:  A young man hailing from Udyavara Kanakoda was electrocuted in a tragic incident on June 16, Wednesday evening.

 

The deceased is Mokshith Karkera(25), son of Manoj Karkera, Shashikala couple from Malpe Kodavoor.

The mishap occurred when  Mokshith was at his uncle Shanker’s house at Udyavar Kanakoda on Wednesday evening.  It is learnt  Mokshith was electrocuted when he was checking the main switch board after a power  outage due to strong winds in the area.

Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital, he breathed his last on way. Mokshith was an electrician by profession and was even helping his mother in fish selling at Malpe.
