Youth attacked by unidentified men near Vamanjoor Junction

Mangalore, Oct 16, 2014: A youth suspected to having links with underworld was attacked by unidentified assailants near Vamanjoor Junction on October 16, Thursday afternoon.

Sources said there were in all eight assailants who had arrived with wooden clubs in hand. They brutally assaulted the youth named Praveen Carlo (26) leaving him with serious injuries on his stomach, back and head.

 

 

Though the motive behind the attack is not known, one suspicion is that his  links with the underworld  might have led to the attack.

Investigations are underway.
