Youth arrested for blocking way of ambulance

Mangaluru, Jan 21, 2022: Police have arrested a young man for obstructing the movement of an ambulance by blocking its way.  The incident which took place on January 19, Wednesday was captured in a video by the ambulance personnel and the same is viral on social media.

 

The accused has been identified as Monish. He has been booked under IPC Section 279 and  Section 184 of the Indian Motor Vehicle Act.

On Wednesday,  Monish who was driving a car ( KA 19 MD 6843) had blocked the movement of an ambulance for nearly 40 kms from Mulki to Udupi when the ambulance was shifting a patient from the district to Bhatkal.

The same youth has also been accused of blocking the way of another ambulance which was proceeding to Mangaluru from Manipal.
