
Mangaluru, Sept 5, 2026: A 19-year-old youth, who sustained serious injuries after allegedly falling from an upper floor during a party at a guest house in Arand, Pavanje, two months ago, died during treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Kishore (19), who was employed with a private company. He is survived by his mother and brother.

According to reports, Kishore had attended a party organised by a Chennai-based surfing team along with local residents. He allegedly fell from an upper floor during the event and suffered severe injuries. He was reportedly taken to hospital only the following day and remained under treatment for nearly two months before succumbing to his injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the fall and the delay in providing medical attention remain unclear. Allegations of drug-related activities in the Arand area have also raised questions over the incident.
Mulki police are investigating the case.
Meanwhile, local residents have reportedly raised concerns over activities being conducted in the Sasihithlu-Pavanje-Arand area in the name of surfing and have urged authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation into Kishore’s death.
