Young bike rider killed in collision with van near Kaikamba Junction

Mangalore, Jan 26, 2014: A youth hailing from Addoor in the outskirts of the city, met a tragic end in a road accident at Kaikamba Junction near Gurupur on January 26, Sunday.

The accident occurred when the two-wheeler which the youth was riding was hit by a speeding van. The impact of the collision was such that it not only threw the bike rider on the road, but also toppled the van.

The deceased youth is Mohammad Harris (26), son of Abdul Rahman. The van driver also suffered serious injuries in the mishap.
