Yeddyurappa visits temples with political confidants

yeddyurappa12feb 9 1Mangalore, Feb 9, 2012: B. S. Yeddyurappa, the former chief minister of Karnataka, and his confidants, who had on Feb 9 Thursday gone to the house of Shobha Karandlaje, the state energy minister, who had recently lost her father, also went to a number of temples in the taluk. 


The former chief minister, who had arrived to Subrahmanya from Bangalore by train, was accompanied by M. P. Renukacharya, the excise minister; Hartal Halappa, the former minister; Katta Subrahmanya Naidu; MLAs H. M. Vishwanath, Laxminarayana, and Suresh Gowda; and B. Nagaraj Shetty, the chairman of the Coastal Development Authority (CDA). 


The group drove to Shri Kukke Subrahmanya Temple, after which they visited Shri Parivara Panchalingeshwara Temple, the Shiradi Daiva Nemotsava, and Kerpada Shri Durgaparameshwari Mahishamardhini Temple. 


Later that evening, Yeddyurappa visited Shri Venkataramana Temple on Car Street, which was recently renovated, with B. Nagaraj Shetty and Katta Subrahmanya Naidu. 


Talking to Mangaloretoday.com, about the recent porn-watching episode, Yeddyurappa said that the three MLAs were not watching porn, in spite of which they had resigned. He said that the truth will come out soon as the speaker has ordered a probe into the incident.
