
Mangalore, Dec 12, 2012: A workshop for enrolment monitors who have been recruited to ensure success of the second phase of the registration works for the Aadhaar project, an ambitious initiative of Government of India to issue Unique Identification Number to the citizens , was held at the DC office in Mangalore on December 12, Wednesday. Already retired officials have been appointed as enrolment monitors.

Presiding over the function, KA Dayananda, Additional Deputy Commissioner, exhorted the inspectors to undertake the works assigned to them with dedication and sincerity as Aadhaar registration works is a nation building work. He further said the inspectors who have to scrutinize details are responsible for any defect in the information.
MCC Commissioner Dr Harish Kumar and Assistant Commissioner Dr Venkatesh were also present. Isaac and Satyamurthi were the resource persons.
