Women display their diverse skills at Mahila Kalotsava as part of Women’s Day

Mangaluru, Mar 08, 2023: As part of International Women’s Day, a vehicle rally was taken out in the city on March 8, Wednesday. Named "Mahila Kalotsava" this was an all-women show wherein women from diverse walks of life showcased their skills and  proved their mettle. The event was organised by Dakshina Kannada Mahila Mandalagala Okkoota.

The jatha was flagged off by Deputy Mayor Poornima.  As part of the vehicle rally, women drivers were seen driving buses, autorickshaws and trucks. There were many women bike riders too.

The rally which commenced from Bunts Hostel ground ended at Town Hall premises. The function at Town Hall was inaugurated by senior civil judge Shobha B G.
