Woman files complaint against husband for circulating daughter’s private videos on social media

Padubidri, July 13, 2024: A woman has lodged a police complaint against her husband accusing the latter of circulating the private videos of his very own daughter in WhatsApp groups and social media.

It is learnt, the daughter of the accused has attempted suicide by consuming phenyl and is presently admitted to the Ajjarkad government hospital.

The daughter of the accused was in love with a relative youth named Tausif of Teerthahalli. However the accused did not like this and had summoned Tausif to his house and assaulted him. He even snatched Tausif’s and his daughter’s phone and transferred all videos from it to his phone and then circulated the same.

When the wife objected, the man assaulted her and his daughter following which the wife lodged a complaint at the CEN station in Udupi.
