Woman dies after eating betel leaf with rat poison mistaking it for lime

Gangolli, Feb 14, 2023: An elderly woman lost her life after she accidentally consumed betel leaf along with rat poison by mistaking it for lime.

 

The deceased is Sadhu Poojarthi (71).  The woman who was critically ill was rushed to the Wenlock Hospital where she succumbed.

A case has been registered in Gangolli police station.
