Woman Killed in Road Accident at Deralakatte

Mangaluru, July 13, 2025: A 58-year-old woman was killed on the spot after being struck by a Bolero vehicle while crossing the road at Derlakatte on Saturday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Kamala, a native of Kerala. She was residing in an apartment in Derlakatte with her daughter, Meera, who works as a doctor at a private hospital in the area.

The incident occurred when Kamala was crossing the road to return home. The Bolero vehicle hit her, causing fatal injuries. She died at the scene.

Local police visited the spot and have launched an investigation into the incident.
