Within days of Rai’s promise, police officials in DK transferred

Mangalore, Oct 14, 2013 :  Venkatesh Prasanna, Inspector in City Crime Bureau and Kavitha,  ACP(Central) are among a few police officials of the district who have been transferred.

This development comes within days of DK District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai stating that  police officials  posted in the district for long will be transferred in a bid to ‘cleanse’ the department.

If ACP (Central) Kavitha has been posted  at Krishnaraja Sagar sub-division in Mysore,  Dr Venkatesh Prasanna will be  posted in the office of the IGP (Western Range). Surprisingly, this is the third transfer for Venkatesh Prasanna in the past 15 days. First he was transferred from CCB to  DCRB and now to the office of the IGP.

Karkala DySP Jayanth Shetty    has not been shown any posting. Ravish Naik, Rural Inspector  has been  transferred to Mangalore Airport Immigration Section. Dinaker Shetty from Belthangady  has been posted at Pandeshwar station.
