White Doves presents mobile Christmas show at Fr. Mullers

Mangalore, Dec 11, 2011: The NGO White Doves presented a mobile Christmas show based on the life of Jesus Christ on the grounds of Fr. Muller Hospital on Saturday. The show lasted nearly 2 hours. Nearly 135 artistes, most of them inmates of White Doves participated in the show. 


The carol singing was led by Corrine Rasquinha, the founder president of White Doves. Funds were raised at the end of the show for social welfare activities.

The White Doves stage Christmas shows annually to raise funds for social welfare activities. This year, the show was presented on Gandhi Maidan in Brahmavar and Nehru Maidan in Kundapur on Dec 9. On Dec 11, White Doves presented their mobile Christmas show at Nehru Maidan in Mangalore and on the grounds of Padua High School. 


Fr. Patrick Rodrigues, the director of Fr. Muller Charitable Institution was the special guest. He delivered the Christmas message. Fr. Richard Coelho, the administrator of FMMC, was the guest of honor. Corrine Rasquinha and Witus Rasquinha delivered the welcome address. 


White Doves is also celebrating its 17th anniversary this year. Ever since its inception, the NGO has provided homes for the homeless, irrespective of caste, religion, or community.
