Wenlock patient shocked to see dead lizard in his food plate

Mangalore, Mar 22, 2014 : A patient at  District Wenlock Hospital in Mangalore had the shock of his lifetime on March 21, Friday when he found a dead lizard in the  food provided to him at the hospital.

 

 

 

Dinesh from Hassan who was admitted to the hospital nearly a month ago  for treatment, had ordered  lunch from the hospital canteen and when the food was supplied, to his horror he found a dead  lizard in the plate which had rice and curry.

He immediately brought the matter  to the notice of the hospital authorities. It has been gathered that the hospital  outsourced the food from some other  hotel. It is learnt, the same food had been consumed by as many as 300 patients at the hospital, but none had complained of any problem.
