Weddings allowed in halls with maximum 40 guests from June 28 in DK

Mangaluru, Jun 28, 2021:  The district administration has permitted wedding functions in halls, hotels, restaurants and auditoriums from June 28 onwards  with a maximum participation of 40 guests.

In a new order, Deputy  Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra has said that all Covid guidelines have to be strictly adhered to during the wedding ceremonies that can be held with prior permission of the City Corporation Commissioner,  Chief Officers of respective local administrations and PDOs in panchayat limits.

The officials will distribute passes to those who will be attending weddings. Only one wedding can be held in one auditorium and only those with passes can attend. The passes cannot be transferred to others. Any violation  of the rules will result in action against the wedding organisers and owners of the places where the weddings are held.
