Washroom video case: Victim appears before court

Udupi, Aug 04, 2023: In connection with the suo moto case filed by the Udupi police in the washroom video case at a private college in the city, the victim in the case appeared at the Udupi Court and gave her statement on August 3, Thursday.

 

The incident reportedly took place on July 18, when the girl had been to the washroom and found a mobile camera which reportedly filmed her.

Though the girl gave her statement, she however has refused to file a complaint.

All the three accused girl students have already secured anticipatory bail.

It may be mentioned here that this controversy had led to protests by the BJP and Hindu organisations.
