Voters’ list revision in Udupi district upto Nov 29

 Udupi, Nov 1, 2013 : A  revision of voters’ list will be undertaken  in  Udupi, Byndoor, Kundapur, Kaup and Karkala assembly constituency limits of Udupi district from October 30 to November 29 as per the directive of the Election Commission of India.

A press communiqué from Udupi Deputy Commissioner Dr MT Reju said   officials concerned will  accept applications in prescribed formats for inclusion/deletion/transfer of names  in voters’ list during the period. The forms are available in the  taluk offices, Village Accountant’s offices, TMC and Panchayat offices.

 Citizens who will be completing 18 years of age as on January 1, 2013 can apply in Format  6 for registration of their names in the voters’ list. Even online applications can be submitted. In such an event, copies of the online applications should be submitted to the District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner, Udupi District, Rajathadri, Manipal.
