Voter awareness campaign: Students form human chain in city

Mangalore, Mar 28, 2014 :  Students formed a human chain   in front of University College at Hampankatta in Mangalore on March 28, Friday as part of Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme of Election Commission. NCC cadets from Naval wing posted voter awareness stickers on vehicles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The voters awareness  campaign was earlier inaugurated by Mangalore Police Commissioner R Hithendra by pasting a sticker on a vehicle.

Zilla Panchayat CEO Tulasi Maddineni was also present.

The stickers will be distributed to students to organise similar campaigns near their colleges.
