Puttur, Feb 13, 2021: “Samvartana Samarambha” Graduation Ceremony at Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Puttur was held on February 13th in the College Campus.
The ceremony witnessed the awarding of Graduation day certificates by the institution to the class of 2020 comprising of Undergraduates (BE) and Postgraduates (MBA).
Prof. Badekai Ramachandra Bhat, Professor, Department of Chemistry NITK, surathkal, was the chief guest and presented the graduation certificates. Sri Balarama Acharya G, Director, Vivekananda Vidya Vardhaka Sangh, presided over the ceremony.
Dr Mahesh Prasanna K, Principal, VCET welcomed the graduands and dignitaries to the graduation ceremony.
Prof. Badekai Ramachandra Bhat, in his address, urged graduates to put maximum efforts to achieve more in life. He stressed three important aspects Creativity, righteousness and Courage will help in enhancing knowledge. He called upon the students to develop a hunger for knowledge and congratulated them.
Scholastic toppers were felicitated during the program. Sri Balarama Acharya G. in his presidential address said completing graduation you are entering the world of new possibilities, he urged them to make use of technical and management skills gained during the college life and try to become entrepreneurs.
Dr Manujesh, HoD, Mechanical Engineering Department, administered the graduation oath.
Sri Girish Bharadwaj, Sri Ram Kumar, Correspondent, Directors of VCET Governing council, Parents relation cell secretary were present for the programme. Dr Chethan P D, convenor offered the vote of thanks.
