Vittal police detect cattle trafficking case ; arrest three persons

Vittal, Oct 14, 2013 :  Vittal police have  detected a case of cattle smuggling and have arrested three persons at Budoli in Maani village. As many as five  cattle were found in the pick-up vehicle.

The arrested have been identified as Rizwan (35) of Belur, Nayaz(23) and Shaukath (26) of Chembugudde. It is learnt they were transporting the cattle from a place called Halebeedu in Hassan district towards a slaughter house at Tokkottu.

The value of their Ashok Leyland (Dost) vehicle and the cattle has been estimated at Rs 3.5 lakhs. Vittal police are investigating.
