Vittal: Bike rider critically injured as private bus rams bike

Bantwal, July 30, 2025: A bike rider sustained serious injuries when a speeding private bus collided with his two-wheeler at Chandalike near Vittal.

The bus, traveling from Vittal to Bengaluru, was reportedly overtaking at high speed when it crashed into the bike coming from the Puttur side.

The injured rider has been identified as Harsha Bhat, a priest from Peruvai. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment, while Vittal police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
